Sustainable water organisation and sponsor of Man City, Xylem, wanted to do something that would showcase their technology in cleaning and recycling rainwater and bring it to a global audience.

So, we came up with the idea of collecting rainwater from the Etihad Stadium, cleaning it with Xylem’s tech and then using it to create our very own ‘rainwater brew’ for Man City fans.

As City were on the verge of winning the league for the second time in a row, we decided to name the beer “Raining Champions”, in honour of their win. Which created a top PR story, with the players cracking open bottles of this unique brew, as they were crowned champs once more.
